Handcrafted Christmas gifts.

Each Christmas we try to make homemade gifts. It hasn't always worked out that way. This year I don't think many of my siblings are making there own gifts. But I am going to make almost ALL my gifts this year, and you might be wondering right now how I will do that....well...it is 1 WORD. And that word is PINTEREST! BABY.COUSINS.ARE.ADORABLE.

Ok, I know this might sound biased but personally I think my baby cousin is the CUTEST baby in the WHOLE entire world! He just moved far away but I wished I would of used him to model my baby boy hats. I didn't take advantage of him quick enough. I think you are dying to see some pictures of him, so here you go :)

winter is coming!

Since Winter is almost here. I thought you might enjoy seeing a cute baby girl hat that will keep your sweet daughter warm during this cold winter :) This particular hat is made on my loom, and the flower that is attached to it is also made on a loom. The button on top is also securely attached. It will fit about 6-12 months old.

Just in case you were wondering where all of my makings are made, you're in luck!
About two months ago, we moved into a house just around the corner from my old house. The awesome thing is that every room has a huge closet! So as soon as we got our hands on the keys to the new house, I was inspired to do this project. Sorry for all the chatting, here it is!

I made this pendent, it is simple but elegant. It is wire, not chain. It is about 18" perimeter.

inspired.

As I was sharpening my colored pencils, I saw this-



It inspired me to use the the shaved off part. Either to make stationary with it, or make jewelry with it somehow. If I did stationary I was thinking you could take the shavings of different colors and layer them in a circle shape to make a flower. Then glue it to a card stock stationary card. Wouldn't that be cute! I would have to think of how I could use it for jewelry...

Wow, I was so amazed how many hat orders I have had...(thanks to all that bought one) I think I sold about 20-30 hats so far! amazing...For all who didn't know, I have sold my hats and jewelry at a store here in Charlottesville. I had so many costumers there. It was awesome! Just wanted to let you know that I am still selling my hats and jewelry.
